Heck, on my past ATV's up there, I've never even needed to be in 4WD unless I went looking for an issue or wanted to play. Just wanted to check if anyone here has tried this combo? It seems like a nice compromise since I only ride logging or gravel roads and mild trail terrain in Maine. I have a friend in the tire business who says guys do this all the time on SXS's and he never has heard of an issue yet. (27X8.5R14) The only issue I can see is they want a 6-7 width and the rear wheels on the General are 8". Then I came across the General Grabber AT2 that comes in a 14" size.
I wanted to run AT tires on the General but didn't want to replace my wheels with 15" to do so.
